GENERAL :
Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this Website. Your use of this Website indicates your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Boutik V Bridal reserves the right to make minor and administrative changes to the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For any significant changes, We will notify you within a reasonable timeframe.
Boutik V Bridal reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Prices for confirmed custom- designed dresses and special orders will not be changed.
The prices listed on the website may differ from the actual prices at the boutique.
Products shown on the website are subject to stock availability.
No order will be processed unless the quote has been signed by the Client and accepted by Boutik V Bridal.By signing and returning the quote, the Client accepts these Terms and Conditions. Additionally, a deposit of 60% (seventy percent) of the total Purchase Price must be paid by the Client to confirm the order. (Please note-that payment should reflect on bank statement before the order will be placed).
All deposits are non-refundable, and all goods remain the property of Boutik V Bridal until the total price specified in this quotation is paid in full.
All goods must be paid for in full before collection.
No goods will be released until payment is reflected in our bank statement. For same-day payments, clients need to select the “Pay and clear now or immediate payment” option.
A cancellation fee of 60% will be applicable if for any reason the client chooses to cancel the transaction (No Exceptions), should the wedding be cancelled or occasion for which the wedding dress / items were purchased or hired. Deposit is not refundable if for any reason the client changes his mind after signing the purchase order.
Cancelling an order will incur a reasonable cancellation fee along with an administrative or handling fee, which may be equal to or exceed 60% of the deposit due to the nature of the services provided.
Cancellations after the first alterations fitting will forfeit a fee of 100% of the purchase price plus the cost of alterations.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled collection date will forfeit a fee of 100% of the purchase price plus the cost of alterations;
We do not offer exchanges or refunds on bridal accessories, including veils, Jewellery, and headpieces. No exchanges are accepted for custom designs, special orders or sale items.
Sample Sale Dresses:
Products shown on the website are subject to stock availability.
All sales are final. All sample purchases from display stock are sold “voetstoots” – based on what you have fitted and can see on the day of the fitting.
Boutik V Bridal does not offer exclusive rights for dress purchases and does not agree to any sole purchase agreements under any circumstances.
No sample sale dresses will be reserved / booked unless the quote has been signed by the Client and accepted by Boutik V Bridal. By signing and returning the quote, the Client accepts these Terms and Conditions.
There are no refunds or Exchange on Sample sale wedding dresses.
For dresses purchased off the rail (sample sale dresses), a 70% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the dress. The remaining 30% balance must be paid within 60 days of the booking date.
If your wedding is scheduled within 60 days of the booking, full payment is required upfront at the time of purchase. (Please note-that payment should reflect on bank statement before the order will be placed).

Alterations:
All wedding dresses are cut to standard sizes, not to accurate measurements. Generally, to European size chart. Alterations may be necessary to ensure the perfect fit.
Alterations services are not included in the Purchase Price and will be priced based on the specific work required. If the Client’s alterations requirements differ from original consultation, this will be billed separately and will be payable before alterations are done.
Please note that dry cleaning, steaming, and pressing are not included in the standard alterations; they are available as additional services.
Alteration fittings for wedding gowns will only begin 2-4 weeks prior to the wedding day. This is done to make sure the gown fits perfectly, allowing for any last-minute adjustments to be made as needed. The timing ensures that the alterations are as accurate as possible, taking into account any changes in size or shape closer to the wedding date.
Boutik V Bridal will ensure that dresses are fitted to perfection to the best of our knowledge. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage to the dress once it has been handed to the client.
By accepting your dress, you confirm that you have read and understood all terms and conditions outlined in the quotation, including the terms related to alterations.
Rentals:
Rental prices include only standard alterations, such as hemming, side adjustments, and strap modifications. Any other alterations will be charged separately.
Bridal gown hire options are at the sole discretion of Boutik V Bridal. A R5000.00 security deposit is required to ensure the dress is returned in the same condition. Any alterations or repairs needed due to damage will be the responsibility of the client and will be deducted from the deposit. The determination of damage is at the sole discretion of Boutik V Bridal, and this decision is final and non-negotiable. The client accepts these terms in full upon signing.
Boutik V Bridal will handle professional cleaning of the dress after it is returned.
Client agree to handle the gown with the utmost care and attention to preserve its condition. And will not alter, modify, or make any changes to the clothing, whether temporary or permanent, without obtaining prior written consent from us.
Hired gowns must be returned at the end of the rental period in the same condition as it was at the time of rental.
Late returns will incur a late fee for each additional day. Any requests for an extension of the hire period must be submitted with a minimum notice of 3-5 days before the original return date.
Client is responsible for inspecting the gown upon receipt and must immediately notify us in writing of any damage, defects, or signs of wear and tear. If such issues are reported, we will acknowledge them. Provided the clothing is returned in the same condition as when it was rented, you will not be held responsible for any pre-existing damage
Any date changes for hire options must be approved by Boutik V Bridal. Boutik V Bridal is under no obligation to accommodate such changes.
All hire items remain the property of Boutik V Bridal at all times. The client is only renting the item and is not the legal owner of it.
CUSTOM MADE :
You are beginning the exciting process of having a custom-made gown made for you! In order to fully understand the process, policies, and what you can expect from us, as well as what we expect from you, please read the following carefully.
Design
From our initial consultation we thrive off the commitment that you have to find the perfect dress, the one of a kind that you have envisioned. We will work with you to create that exclusive custom made and made to measure gown based on your exact requirements and measurements, until you are entirely happy of your dress final design, fabrics and embellishments.
Payments
Once we have finalized the design and confirm the quote. A non-refundable 70% deposit and signed form will be required for us to begin. The outstanding Balance is payable on/before the second fitting date.
Payments are to be the exact amount reflected on the invoice and statements provided. All garments must be paid in full before the date of collection.
Fittings
We do not limit the amount of fittings, but prefer instead to fit until we are all happy. All fittings and alterations are included in the cost of the dress. In other words, we will work with you until your dress fits perfectly and you are fully satisfied with it. We have a full-service commitment to our clients.
Please be aware that you will need to be flexible with your schedule and make time for this important element of the process.
Changes
We realize that having a custom dress made is a sort of evolutionary process, and sometimes it may be necessary to make changes to the design or construction in order to make it work. However, the earlier in the process these changes can be made the better, so if you are thinking that you would like to make a change, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can accommodate your request. For the most part, if you let us know soon on your initial fitting, we can make minor changes at no additional charge. If there is a major change which requires the purchase of more material or additional labour, there may be extra charges which will be agreed upon by both parties before the changes are made.
Cancellation
If for any reason the transaction / contract is cancelled by the client at any time, the 70% deposit is not refundable. All fabrics purchased will remain in possession of Boutik V Bridal and will be retained for services rendered that was not covered by the 70% deposit.
In the event the client cancels after the first fitting, the client will be responsible for the full price of the gown.
Your Commitment
Because the dress is custom made for you, it is very important that you are fully committed to it before we begin. Once we have begun making your dress, we cannot accept returns or cancellations for any reason such as you changed your mind, choose a different style, found a cheaper dress somewhere else, called off the wedding, etc…

We understand how important a special gown and the event are to our client, and we are committed to making sure that you have a wonderful experience and LOVE your dress! We believe that with patience and clear communication on both sides we can work together until you are 100% satisfied with your custom-made gown.
UNEXPECTED EVENTS :
Any delay or inability of Boutik V Bridal to perform its obligations will be overlooked to the extent that it is caused by the occurrence of events beyond its control. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, fires, floods, vandalism, governmental actions, legal orders, labour disputes, or any errors or omissions by their suppliers or third-party manufacturers.
COLLECTION :
The client is responsible for inspecting the garment at the final fitting and pick-up. Final pick-up is considered acceptance of the gown’s condition. Once the dress leaves Boutik V Bridal’s possession, the boutique is not responsible for any damage or staining to the gown. This includes, but is not limited to, wrinkling, wear and tear from the ceremony and/or reception, and any issues resulting from being stepped on. Boutik V Bridal cannot be held accountable for the fit or condition of the dress after it leaves the premises.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Boutik V Bridal its owners, employees, or affiliated entities shall not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury, sustained by you or your guests while on the premises, including but not limited to the buildings, grounds, parking areas, or surrounding property. This includes any incidents of theft or other personal harm. By entering the premises, you and your guests irrevocably waive any claims for such loss or injury.
